Hurricanes

Hurricanes have become more and more vicious over the past few years. This hurricane season was especially rough on Texas and the US Virgin Islands. Hurricanes are strong tropical storms that have strong winds and heavy rain fall. This year hurricanes have devastated parts of the world in ways that they will not be able to recover for many years. 

Puerto Rico was hit the hardest after Hurricane Maria.
 


Scientists are still trying to figure out why these storms are getting more and more violent throughout the past few years. The biggest theory is climate change is making the water warmer therefore making the storms more intense.
